OBJECTIVE: The Sewer Advisory Committee liaisons with the Montcalm Drain Commission supervising compliance with regulations and safety requirements for the proper use and effective operation of the BWL sewer system. This committee is in charge of communicating the operations, regulations and maintenance procedures to the BWL community.
Residents who are remodeling or rebuilding need to contact a committee member prior to construction in order to be in compliance with location regulations of the sewer system.
This committee is in charge of ongoing management of the sewer system requirements that prohibit garbage disposals, separate drainage systems for water softeners and year round electrical power provided to each residential system control panel.
